Christmas Lights Installation Begun
Our progress was slowed down by the strand of lights that blew two fuses while Dave was on the rooftop. :0)
Warm bowls of taco soup (yum!) to warm us up as we talked of Isacc for our Jesse Tree and lit a candle on our advent wreath.
And warm hot cocoa with or without marshmallows and spiced apple cider for dessert.

Everyone has their own taco soup recipe. Here is our favorite:
Taco Soup
1 pound ground beef
1 can of pinto beans with jalapenos
1 can of corn
1 can of Ranch style beans
1 can of diced tomatoes
1 can of Ro-tel tomatoes
1 packet Hidden Valley Ranch dressing mix
1 packet Taco Seasoning
Brown the ground beef and drain. In pot, add all the canned items and their juices to the ground beef. Stir in the dressing mix and taco seasoning. (Some people add a cup of water also. We don’t so it has a more chili-like consistency.) Simmer for 30 minutes and serve with crushed tortilla chips, cheese, and sour cream.
