It is a family tradition for us to go out of town on Memorial Day weekend which is usually Flower Girl’s birthday too. We have been back since Monday evening and you can probably imagine how the piles of clothes needing to be washed and the everyday busyness are keeping me away from here. Oh, and the weeds garden decided to have a growth spurt while I was gone. I have been crazy busy and sat down tonight to finally write Emma’s birthday post (2 days late). I then realized that her baby pictures are in the closet in the boys’ room (and they are asleep). I also realized that I’m tired. TIRED. I am just too tired to write tonight. So I’m going to share a few Memorial Day weekend photos. Tomorrow, I will share my darling girl’s birthday and birth story …if the garden doesn’t swallow me alive, that is.
~Baby Boy would wave and say “hi” to all of the fish that were caught.~
~For those with weak stomachs: He did not kiss the fish. ~ :)
Your children are beautiful and I love how you capture the personality of each in your photos. Looks like you had a wonderful weekend! Good luck with that garden!!
ReplyDeleteThank you Nicole. We did have a good weekend. It started off very rough since the RV we normally stay in did not make it out to the lake but it ended up being a wonderful weekend. And about the garden...I'm still alive but only conquered three rows today. I only have a few more left since I did half last week and then on to the flower beds! I tell you, gardening is truly a labor of love. Because if I didn't love it, I sure wouldn't do it!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun weekend for your family!
ReplyDeleteIt is amazing all the work that awaits us when we have been AWAY from home! It takes me several days to catch up.
