Just a few notes from our garden this week:
- fertilized with fish fertilizer {and got it on my hand – phew!}
- planted 8 tomatoes and 6 pepper plants started from seed {a first for me}
- planted more watermelon/cantaloupe seed
- planted more sunflower/marigold seed
Harvested this week:
- lettuce
- green onion
- cilantro
- snow peas
- yellow squash
Seen in the garden this week:
- grapes
- tomatoes
- green beans
- raspberries & blackberries
- squash
- lettuce
- mama robin that has built a nest on the grape arbor
To do this week:
- buy/transplant eggplant
- build trellises for cucumbers
- build supports for tomatoes
- mulch around plants
- pick green beans {smile}

ReplyDeleteThank you. :) Yes, that's grapevine over the entrance. It is going crazy this year. I didn't really train it properly and now I see why I should have. :D It is producing grapes though. We are harvesting but I got our garden in really early. Our winter was so mild that I was pretty sure it was safe to get a jump on it.
